Fraser James

Co-FOUNDER, Chair

Fraser James is a professional actor whose career spans over thirty years. His extensive body of work covers film, television, theatre, radio, and voice overs, demonstrating his versatility and talent as a performer.

In 2007, Fraser founded UNDEREXPOSED, in response to the prevalent assertions regarding the absence of Black British role models.

 In addition to his acting career. Fraser has also mentored numerous young black actors, providing guidance on acting techniques and auditions. In his recent work, Fraser appeared in movies such as 'Terminator – Dark Fate' and 'In The Lost Lands.'

 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Franklyn Rodgers

Co-FOUNDER

Franklyn Rodgers is an award-winning artist, visual strategist and creative director, whose practice explores the process and placement of the portrait as a cultural arbiter in the activation of agency.

He represents an authenticity in critical thinking and research that explores the value of a cultural cohesive representation in how we may challenge and innovate, within the photographic medium in this contemporary moment.

 Franklyn’s work is held in the permanent collections of the National Portrait Gallery, Tate Britain, Wellcome Collection, Autograph-ABP, The Queen Mary University and Arts Council England.

 
 
 
 

Dr Faisal Abdu’Allah

Dr. Faisal Abdu’Allah is an internationally acclaimed artist who has carved a niche for himself as a ground-breaking and highly respected figure in the art world. With a profound passion for his craft, Faisal holds the mantle of a professor at the esteemed University of Wisconsin Madison, where he inspires and educates the next generation of artistic minds.

Having graduated from the renowned Royal College of Art in London, Faisal honed his skills as a printmaker, delving into the intricate intersections of photography, printed media, film, installation, and performance. This diverse training has allowed him to delve into the depths of artistic expression, pushing boundaries and challenging traditional norms.

 
 

Gemma Seltzer

SECRETARY

Gemma Seltzer is the author of 'Ways of Living', a collection of short stories published by Influx Press which was a Foyles bestseller.

She enjoys experimenting beyond the page, including writing 'Songbird', an award-winning virtual reality film for the Guardian and is currently one of the writers in residence at the Museum of London, writing texts for its new permanent gallery, opening in 2025.

Gemma founded Write & Shine, a creative writing programme that encourages people to find inspiration in the morning. She lives in London

 
 

Graham Martin FCCA ATII

TREASURER

Graham, an accomplished tax partner at Blinkhorn, possesses a wide-ranging expertise in handling intricate personal, corporate, and international tax matters. Drawing upon his extensive knowledge and experience, Graham adeptly advises clients on navigating through complex tax issues, ensuring compliance with existing regulations.

Moreover, Graham excels in efficiently managing a diverse portfolio of clients, particularly those involved in the entertainment and media industry.

Graham assumes the role of treasurer for UNDEREXPOSED ARTS, assuming responsibility for providing crucial financial and management support. His formal and professional demeanour enables him to handle the organization's financial matters with precision and care, ensuring the sustained growth and success of UNDEREXPOSED ARTS.
